Happy Anniversary To Us

Today is our 8th anniversary.
We didn’t do anything special, in fact we kind of completely forgot about it. We decided to go out for dinner next week to celebrate, this week was just too crazy to deal.
8 years ago we were in Vegas, how I wish we were there this weekend instead of packing, painting, schlepping, sorting and moving. In any case, one of my biggest regrets was that we didn’t get a professional photographer to take photos for our wedding. Oh 2001, you were so cute. How times have changed. Wedding photos now-a-days are amazing, personalized and creative and I’m not fooling myself into thinking that what we would have had then might be as good as what we’d get now but still. A gal can dream. We don’t even have digital photos of the day, because regular people didn’t even have digital cameras.
So instead of displaying our wedding photo I’ll post one of another handsome couple.

The Karts circa 1973!
I can’t quite figure out what my favorite part of this picture is. its definitely a toss up between my dad’s hair, moustache, tie, lapel and sleeve.
Sharon looks adorable and is almost cracking a smile even! I wonder what they said to make her keep her eyes open…

How cute!! Pretty nice looking couple, I must say! Sharon’s beautiful and her hair is pretty current. And Paul – well, he’s good lookin’ no matter what the decade!

make sure you get some professional pregnancy photos done! I have a nice tryptic of me (big belly) and hubby, Me hubby and baby in hospital, and all of us a few weeks later!

I can’t believe you. Actually I think the tux with the velvet trim is the best. By the way he did get a haircut for the event.
