39 weeks
July 5th, 2009

39 weeks is something else. Today I’m 39w4d and I can finally say if I went into labor today it would be ok. We have 4 boxes left to unpack, only 4! Out of almost 100. Its pretty exciting because even though it took us 6 weeks to get here every single thing has a place. We spent alot of time and money making sure everything we ended up keeping had a home and it is so worth it. Considering we moved unopened boxes from the last time we moved I am pretty impressed that we got this far, especially since we have to squeeze a lot more into this apt. Our new roommate has a ton of crap, who knew.
Tonight we have to head to Lowe’s yet again to swap out some hinges for cabinets in the baby’s room and then besides hanging the art and choosing window coverings that room is done. YAY!
In the meantime we’ve been living it up as much as possible at the movies, dinners out and having friends over. I can’t really go anywhere fun that necessitates an extreme amount of walking but I do accompany Matthew on almost every errand to force myself to walk as much as I can handle. So I don’t get out much but I can tell you that the bathrooms at Ikea are really nice, Lowe’s are OK, Target is good and conveniently placed, supermarket I just will not attempt. Baby stores have the most disgusting ones sadly, but what can ya do.
Sit tight peeps, I can be in it for the long haul and may not have this baby until July 22. (WT$#@^&%Q!!!)

Now THAT’S looking more like the end is near! So happy for you that 99% of everything is in place. So impressed with only 4 boxes left!
