internet book club

I recently downloaded The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides but I haven’t actually started it yet. As someone who used to read 2 books a week this leaves me slightly concerned.
I am starting it today with a goal to finish it by the end of the month. Kind of a joke to think I won’t but since I’ve only finished 2 other books in the past 6 months its really not that hard to imagine anymore.
Anyone want to join me? Maybe I’ll even read a book in December too! (Night Circus?)

Just read both of those. Liked The Marriage Plot, loved The Night Circus.

I just read Loving Frank (which is the book that I ruined the ending for myself by looking up the characters involved) which was good, but it took me a while to get into it.
Before that I read Moloka’i. Which I adored.
Have you read the Hunger Games series? I read all three of them in like a week. So good. Which I didn’t expect. I thought I would dislike them, much the same way I dislike Twilight (without having actually read Twilight).
I am FLYING through books lately with my nook – its a very dangerous thing for my wallet!

You’re doing better than me…the closest thing I have come to reading a book in the last 6 mths is a baby sleep book. The only thing I miss about taking the bus…time to read.

I have the Night Circus but haven’t started it yet! December seems likely.
