Starbucks VIA
The buzz has been around for a while and now that I’ve read some reviews on Starbucks new instant coffee, I’m really excited to try it.
The first review was by my old college roommate Megan, who is a for real blogger in Seattle and got invited to a tasting.
The interesting thing to me is that instant has such a bad rap (Sorry, Poppy) and my initial thought in them taking it on seemed so weird. Then I read its great for iced coffee. WHAT? Instant Iced Coffee? That’s my dream product. Selling for 3 for $2.95, thats really a good deal compared to the $3.00 per I pay for it at the not starbucks down the street. I am a tiny bit bummed they don’t have decaf but my decaf days are dwindling, and mama needs her daily cup!

For lame geeks like me who like to know random facts - VIA is named after the Starbucks former R&D guy who devised the process 20 years ago while trying to find good coffee on camping trips. He died of cancer last year.
